International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the achievements of women while increasing the visibility of diversity, equity, and inclusion across the world. Enjoy this webinar recording as we celebrate and discuss the achievements and contributions of women REALTORS®. This year’s panel of remarkable and inspirational speakers include Tricia Nekota, Vivian Macias, Amy Kong, and Carolyn Altman. Join us as we celebrate women REALTORS® and the incredible women of RRC. They will present this webinar on March 8, 2024, at Noon Central.


Meet Tricia

As a former Elementary School teacher, Tricia has always been passionate about education, setting goals, and inspiring others to help make their dreams come true. Tricia has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2007 for the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®. On September 17, 2021, Dream Home Realty Hawaii was established. It was a long-awaited goal of Tricia’s to open her own brokerage with her partner and niece, Tori. Everyone has a dream and a story; Tricia desires to allow everyone to write their story and create their happily ever after.

Tricia’s volunteer services from her State, Local, and National positions over the years have led her to where she is today. Her mission is to be a positive influence and inspire others to grow professionally and personally through education, engagement, and involvement. Tricia is the 2024 RRC President.


Meet Vivian

Vivian Macias, CRS Vivian started her career in real estate in 1988. She is the third generation REALTORS® in her family. Her family immigrated from Cuba to start a new life in USA in the early 1960’s. She currently manages her family real estate business with her sisters which started in 1977. She is a native Floridian, who is bilingual in English and Spanish. She focuses on Luxury Residential and Investment properties.


Her passion for the real estate profession has led her to serve in several leadership capacity. Most recent as the 2024 President Elect Residential Real Estate Council President. She earned her CRS in 2002.

In 2014, She graduated from Florida Realtors Leadership Academy. Also served that year as President for the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Miami Dade Chapter.


She is currently serving as a Governor for the Residential Board for the Miami Association of REALTORS®.

In addition, she has been a State Director for Florida Association of REALTORS® since 2012 and serves in several committees. She was President for Northwestern Board of Realtors in 2005. In 2005, Vivian Macias was voted the REALTOR of the Year by the local Board of REALTORS®.


“Family first” Vivian will always say. She is married to Charles, and they have three wonderful children. Marie, Juan, and Emilee. Vivian earned a Bachelor in Arts from Florida International University in Marketing and Management with a minor in International Business. Don’t forget the furry family members Lilli, Cali, Cooper, and Kayne. On her free time, you will find her either cooking or at the beach under an umbrella. Her passion shows in everything she does. You will feel the love she has for our profession.


Meet Amy

Amy Kong, CRS is an immigrant from Hong Kong. Amy has served the San Francisco and Mid-Peninsula real estate markets since 1988. She is the Co-Founder of Trust Real Estate, in San Bruno, California. Honesty and integrity are her core values in the business and also in her community outreach. Among her various local and national endeavors, she is the 2021 (Asian Real Estate Association of America) AREAA National President. Amy is bilingual in English and Cantonese.


Meet Carolyn

Carolyn Altman, CRS is from Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and currently wears many hats!


Carolyn is:

Carolyn has been a top-producing agent for over 19 years. She is a single mom to 3 children, a caregiver to her mom, and now a grandmother. Carolyn has had to learn to do it all you have to plan by time blocking to stay relevant, get the tough items off the list quickly, and rule the day.

RRC, RRC States, and licensees reserve the right to cancel any scheduled course. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be notified via email or phone and will be given a full refund. RRC, RRC States, and licensees are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the registrant due to cancellation. Class cancellations by a participant will be accepted until one week prior to the event. Cancellations will be refunded minus a $25 administrative fee. No shows will be charged the full registration amount.
