How do you enhance negotiation power? Your expertise and knowledge as a trusted advisor will give you the edge. To succeed in a negotiation, you must go into the situation well-prepared. Know the market (nationwide and local), and take the time to understand the people involved. This goes beyond just your client—it is crucial also to understand the other party and agent. Understanding the people involved and having the prep work done will help you identify interests and how to separate interests from positions.


Course Completion Outcomes:

    • Demonstrate how and why thorough preparation is required before negotiation and what key knowledge is needed to be a successful negotiator.
      • Recognize the diverse ways people think, personality types, and behaviors and how these elements affect the negotiation process.
      • Identify and differentiate between positions and interests in a negotiation.

RRC, RRC States, and licensees reserve the right to cancel any scheduled course. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be notified via email or phone and will be given a full refund. RRC, RRC States, and licensees are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the registrant due to cancellation. Class cancellations by a participant will be accepted until one week prior to the event. Cancellations will be refunded minus a $25 administrative fee. No shows will be charged the full registration amount.
