Residential Real Estate Divorce Specialist Certification

The Residential Real Estate Divorce Specialist Certification equips agents with the knowledge and skills to manage emotionally charged transactions. The program covers essential topics such as family law basics, property division, and strategies for maintaining neutrality.

 

Through practical exercises and conflict resolution techniques, agents gain confidence in supporting clients through the complexities of divorce. The certification emphasizes effective communication and emotional intelligence to help agents navigate sensitive situations with care. Completing this certification establishes agents as empathetic, professional guides, allowing them to provide invaluable support during a challenging life transition and positioning them as trusted experts in divorce-related real estate matters.

 

The learner will receive 8 credit hours toward the CRS Designation.

This certification will ask potential students to complete the courses listed below. After successful completion and achieving scores of 70% or better on both exams, students will receive the certification.

Through real-world case studies, the course also explores how to navigate joint property sales and manage the unique complexities that arise when serving clients during divorce.

Online courses that are flexible and available on your schedule, designed to help real estate professionals confidently navigate transactions involving divorce. These courses explain the basics of family law and how divorce impacts real estate, clarify marital versus separate property and methods of division, and provide conflict-resolution strategies to remain neutral and reduce tension. You’ll also learn how to use emotionally intelligent communication to support clients with professionalism, empathy, and care throughout the divorce process.
