Choose the Path That's Right for You
There is more than one way to earn the CRS Designation.
All three pathways lead to the same CRS Designation. The difference is simply which path best aligns with your experience and career stage.
CRS Designation Path
Best for agents who are building their experience and working toward the production requirements needed to earn the designation.
PRODUCTION:
60 transactions total OR $30M in volume over the last 5 years

EDUCATION:
30 credits of RRC coursework (from CRS live classroom or self-paced courses or Sell-a-bration®)
Pro Program Path
Best for experienced agents with 10 or more years in residential real estate who have already built a successful career and can demonstrate a history of professional achievement.
EXPERIENCE:
10 years minimum in real estate

PRODUCTION:
150 transactions total OR an average of $1M per year with a minimum of 40 transactions

EDUCATION:
16 credits of RRC coursework (from CRS live classroom or self-paced courses)
Managers Path
Best for brokers and managers who may no longer be actively selling but are responsible for leading successful agents and teams. Credit may be earned through the production of supervised agents.
EXPERIENCE/PRODUCTION:
Four years of residential real estate management experience OR directly overseen a minimum of 400 closed residential transactions OR Directly overseen a minimum of $80M in closed residential transactions

80 credits of RRC coursework (16 must be from CRS live classroom or self-paced courses)

Application
The official CRS Designation Application can be completed electronically and submitted via email. This is the quickest and easiest way to formally apply.
The Affidavit of Required Transactions must be filled out completely and submitted in order for your application to be considered valid. Applications are processed on a rolling basis, and typically take at most 5-7 business days to process.
You need to be an active RRC Member to apply for a Designation.
