About

James Nellis II, has been an essential part of The Nellis Group and their real estate success for over the last 25 years. The Nellis Family is no stranger to transition and relocation; father Jim Nellis served in the US navy. James grew up in the local Northern Virginia area. He attended Immanuel Christian School in Springfield and Paul VI High School in Fairfax, then to Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and double majored in psychology and religion. James is a natural at negotiating and putting the client's needs first, which he attributes to mentoring in the family business and his educational background in psychology. James grew up playing tennis and still plays singles and doubles. He is an avid volleyball player with two weekly leagues playing with Nellis Group teams. Outside of sports, travel is a passion; he loves seeing the country and the world and is always looking for the next adventure. "Growing up in a real estate family gave me a good feel for the integrity involved in working with buyers and sellers. I grew up understanding this is a service industry and our clients needs must come first. I bring to the group fresh insight into how technology can enhance our relationship and business. People are my passion and our company's goal is to take care of everyone that God puts in our path."
