Meet Jack


Jack Cotton’s passion for real estate began with childhood tree houses in Cape Cod, where he built forts from scrap wood and cherished the feeling of having a space of his own. Today, as a REALTOR® with Sotheby’s International Realty in Osterville, he helps clients find homes that evoke that same “tree house feeling,” specializing in waterfront and village properties on Mid-Cape Cod.


Starting his career in 1974 from a college dorm room with handmade signs and a $600 insurance payment, Jack has spent over five decades building a reputation for integrity, discretion, and client-focused service. His expertise in luxury markets like Osterville, Wianno, and Cotuit has made him a trusted advisor.


Jack is also an Amazon bestselling author and certified instructor with the Residential Real Estate Council. His commitment to education led to the creation of the Cotton Center for Real Estate Studies at Cape Cod Community College.


Outside of real estate, Jack enjoys cycling and captaining on Nantucket Sound. His love for Cape Cod’s natural beauty continues to inspire his work—helping clients find homes that feel truly special.
