Meet Teresa
Teresa Pitt, CRS, began her professional real estate career in 1994, and her journey since has been nothing short of inspiring. Currently serving as the President-Elect of the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC), she has held several significant roles within the organization, including 1st Vice President and Regional Vice President for Regions 3 and 4. Her leadership extends to serving as North Carolina RRC State President in 2018 and 2019, as well as holding finance and technology communications roles in prior years.
Teresa’s pursuit of excellence led her to obtain advanced certifications, including the esteemed Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 2004, and she proudly holds a total of ten professional designations and certifications. Her philosophy revolves around treating others with dignity, respect, and honesty, grounded in the timeless principle of the “Golden Rule.” This commitment to integrity has garnered her numerous accolades, including the NC REALTORS® 2018 Regional Service Award, Coldwell Banker HPW Awards of Excellence-Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award-2025 and various sales and production awards.
With over 15 years dedicated to volunteerism, Teresa’s influence spans national, local, and state associations, where she has actively contributed to leadership roles and community service. She is a distinguished graduate of the NC REALTORS® William C. Bass Leadership Academy and the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy and recognized as the NC Certified Residential Specialist of the Year in 2016. As an RPAC major investor, Golden President’s circle and 2023 inductee into the RPAC Hall of Fame, her dedication to advocacy is evident. In her previous committee and leadership positions at RRAR® and NC REALTORS®, Teresa has been a beacon of leadership across various vital areas, serving as President of RRAR, and holding other Executive offices both on local and State levels. Committees-Risk Management, Professional Standards, Finance, Bylaws and DEI. Her service extends to the National Association of REALTORS®, highlighting her commitment to improving housing opportunities.
On a personal note, Teresa cherishes a lifelong partnership with her high school sweetheart, Dalton, a retired Air Force service member. Together, they raised two adult sons, Jamaal, a PhD and associate professor, and Anton, a food service and catering provider, along with their daughter-in-law Camille and grandson Cali. Their family also includes a beloved mini dachshund, Mavis.
Teresa's journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to professional excellence and strong community ties, highlighting her ability to harmonize personal and professional life. Guided by the "Golden Rule," she has forged a legacy built on dignity and respect. Through her extensive volunteer work and leadership, Teresa exemplifies a profound commitment to enhancing community outreach and professional development, reflecting her passion for the real estate industry and her lasting impact on those around her.

Meet Debra
Debra Beagle is the CEO and Managing Broker/Owner of The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage in Nashville, Tennessee—the #1 RE/MAX team globally and the official real estate team of the NHL's Nashville Predators. With over 17 years of experience in real estate, Debra oversees 190 agents and a staff of 42, managing more than 14,000 transactions totaling over $5.5 billion in sales.
Debra holds a B.S. in Chemistry from George Washington University and began her career as an Environmental Chemist and Consultant, conducting Phase I & II Due Diligence for commercial real estate transactions. She has earned over 700 hours of continuing real estate education and holds 16 designations, including CRS, GRI, ABR, and CLHMS.
Fluent in Spanish, Debra has been recognized by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) in the Top 250 Hispanic Realtors in the U.S. for multiple years, ranking #11 in 2017. She co-founded the NAHREP Nashville Local Chapter and has served on its Board of Directors.
Debra will be the President-Elect for RRC in 2026.

Stacey Ruwe, CRS, is an experienced real estate broker and co-founder of Ruwe Homes with City2Shore Gateway Group in Spring Lake, Michigan. With over 20 years in the real estate industry, Stacey combines deep market expertise with a client-first approach, helping buyers and sellers throughout West Michigan’s lakeshore communities. Known for her professionalism, open communication, and dedication to excellent service, she partners with clients through every step of the buying and selling process. Along with her husband and business partner, Dave Ruwe, Stacey brings a wealth of residential and commercial real estate knowledge and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
Meet Jennifer
Jennifer Powers, CRS, is a 35-year real estate industry veteran, a lifelong resident of Sonoma, CA, and a sixth-generation wine country resident.
The last 17 years of her career have been spent with Sotheby’s International Realty, where she’s been recognized year after year as a Top 100 Sales Associate across their company-owned brokerages.

Cancelation Policy
RRC, RRC States, and licensees reserve the right to cancel any scheduled course. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be notified via email or phone and will be given a full refund. RRC, RRC States, and licensees are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the registrant due to cancellation. Class cancellations by a participant will be accepted until one week prior to the event. Cancellations will be refunded minus a $25 administrative fee. No shows will be charged the full registration amount.
