I am a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area & a third-generation Realtor. Being such, providing professional service & care to my clients is paramount. I have been a Realtor since 1996 & I earned my Broker's license in 2002. In 2005 I was proud to have earned my designation as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), one held by only 4% of Realtors.
Prochnow Realtors, Inc. was founded by my mother, Mary Prochnow, in 1991. Mom began her career in Real Estate in 1972 with Merit McBride Realtors based in Los Altos. In 2006, my husband, Sean Murphy, joined the team & together we strive to provide outstanding service to our clients. We are delighted with the fact that so much of our business has been comprised of repeat clients and referrals. A very rewarding feeling, indeed!
I feel that being a part of a community means giving back. I have been a member of the Los Altos Rotary Club since 1998 & am a past director. Through the Rotary Club I have been honored to be a part of the Rotary AIDS Project, the scholarship committee & the Young at Art competition for our local high school students.
Over the years, I have also served on the Grievance Committee & Professional Standards Committee with the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors.
In my free time, I can be found chasing my young son or doing genealogy. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Ca. College of Arts & Crafts and photography is a great passion of mine still.
