After retiring from Ford Credit in January 2002, I obtained my real estate license in Las Vegas and worked for CENTURY 21 MoneyWorld until moving back to the Athens, Georgia area in September 2005. Since returning, I affiliated with CENTURY 21 Burdette Realty in Danielsville, Georgia and remained there through December 2009 before moving to CENTURY 21 Ivey & Company in Athens, GA. I obtained my Associate Broker's license in May 2009. In addition to CRS, I also hold the GRI, SRES, ABR, GREEN, LMC and e-PRO designations/certifications.
My market area includes Athens-Clarke County as well as Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Jackson, and some areas of Banks & Barrow Counties.
I am an active member of the Athens Area Association of REALTORS® where I serve as a Director; MLS Board of Directors, past Secretary; Program Committee & past Chair; Membership Committee & past Chair, and Education Committee. I frequently facilitate the CE classes and provide food for our monthly Homeless Shelter meal. Past Secretary of the GA CRS Chapter. I served on the Board of Directors for Spratlin Ponds Homeowners Assoc.2005 to 2010 .

What's a CRS?
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation
awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation
recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.
Since 1977 the Council of Residential Specialists has been conferring
the CRS Designation on agents who meet its stringent requirements. Currently,
there are more than 34,000 active CRS Designees.

Experience — To earn the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
Designation, every REALTOR® must have significant experience and volume
of real estate transactions.
Ethics — Every CRS Designee is required to maintain membership
in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and to abide by its strict
Code of Ethics.
A Focus on Home Buying and Selling — To help make the home buying
and selling process more rewarding, every CRS Designee must have a proven
track record in the business, as well as advanced education in related
areas like finance, technology and marketing. Work with the top 4 percent.
Technology Expertise — The training available to CRS Designees
includes a strong focus on technology and its applications in the real
estate business.
