What topics does the course cover? 
Please view the course demo to get an introduction to the course. The topics covered include business planning, listing strategies, negotiation, digital imaging, real estate investments, and referrals.
 
How do I successfully complete this course?
You must complete all six tasks and get at least 70% of the questions correct on the Final Exam to receive 1 unit of core credit toward the CRS Designation.
  
How do I successfully complete a task?
Start by selecting any task title from the Home page. First, read the email from your manager, Nina Adams, to get your specific task assignment. Then, review and complete your TO DO LIST. Part 1 is your Notebook. Click through the pages to discover strategies and tips for completing your assignment. Part 2 contains one page of Resources where you can access helpful links and materials. Part 3 is one page that sets the stage and prepares you for your assignment. In Part 4, answer questions to complete your assignment. Score 70% or better on Part 4 and the task is complete!
 
How do I know which tasks I have successfully completed?
From the Home page, a checkmark will appear in the checkbox next to each task title that you have successfully completed.
 
How do I access and take the final exam?
When you’ve successfully completed all six tasks, you will automatically gain access to the final exam. You can enter the exam from the Home page. You must get at least 70% of the questions correct to pass the exam and receive 1 unit of elective credit toward the CRS Designation. If you begin the exam, you must complete the exam to get your score. If you get interrupted, just Exit the exam and start again when you have time to answer all 25 questions.
 
What happens if I do not pass the final exam?
You have two chances to pass the final exam. If you do not pass on your first attempt, go back into your task notebooks and review the content before attempting the exam a second time. If you fail on your second attempt, you will not receive credit for the course toward the CRS Designation. You may then re-register for the course if you would like to complete the course and try to pass the exam again.
 
To disable your pop-up blocker

Internet Explorer Browser
First, launch your Internet browser. From your Tools menu on the menu bar, select Pop-up Blocker and change the setting to allow pop-ups.

How long do I have to complete the course?
You have 45 days from the course purchase date to complete the six tasks and final exam. The course should take you approximately 8 hours to complete.
 
You can take the course whenever it is convenient for you throughout your 45 days.

How do I retrieve my lost login and password?

Go to www.CRS.com and view the upper right-hand side of the page. Click on “Forgot your password?”. You will be prompted to enter your email address and your login and password will be emailed to you

How do I increase the font size of text in the course?
By increasing them through your browser.
 Internet Explorer and Netscape: Select View, then Text zoom, then select the text size
Safari: Click the + sign in your address bar
 
Media (audio and video)
 
Why can’t I hear the videos or any audio?
Most likely, you don't have a sound card or speakers, or your volume is turned down on your computer or your speakers. Make sure you have a sound card and speakers installed and configured on your machine. If you have heard sound before on your system, make sure that the volume control on your computer is up, and not on mute mode. Also, make sure all connections to your speakers and/or headphones are plugged in tightly.
 
Why can't I view videos or downloadable documents?
Make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off in your browser. First, launch your Internet browser. From your Tools menu on the menu bar, Select Pop-up Blocker and change the setting to allow pop-ups.
 
Printing and Downloading
 
How do I print a notebook or page?
You cannot print an entire section of the course at one time. To print a single page, view the page you would like to print. Right-click your mouse on that page and select the print option from the menu.
 
How do I view and download resources and documents from within the course?
Select any link from within the course. You will be prompted to save or open the document. Selecting Save will allow you to keep the document for future reference.
