Scheduling a Course

As you determine whether or not you would like to schedule a Course, one of the first decisions you must make is which Course you would like to sponsor. To determine which Core CRS Course or CRS Approved one-unit course would be most successful in your area, you may want to conduct surveys to find out which Courses potential students are interested in taking. You may also want to contact the Education Program Coordinator to find out what has already been scheduled in your state or surrounding area.

Other items you should consider are which dates to hold your Course, what your budget requirements are and which instructors you would like to request.

Costs for CRS Core Courses

A base fee of $4,500 per Course with an additional per student charge of:
  • $100 per student through the first 65 students
  • $85 per student after 65 students through 100 students
  • $50 per student after 100 students
The Course base fee and additional student fee include all costs related to the instructor, as well as student materials such as the student outlines and examinations, which are provided by the Council.

Since they are the responsibility of the sponsor, other expenses you will have to consider are:
  • Marketing
  • Facility
  • Student Food and Beverage
  • Audio-Visual Equipment
Costs for CRS Approved one-unit Courses

Each CRS Approved one-unit course instructor determines their own price. To find out the cost of sponsoring a one-unit course, please contact the instructor directly.
